An In My Heart for the Holidays certificate is a beautiful and meaningful gift that helps animals in need.

Simply donate a minimum of $25, select an animal to send some love to, and you will receive a beautiful certificate featuring their photo and story. The perfect gift for any animal lover!

Delivery options:

  • Choose to receive a certificate via email and print it yourself at home
  • Choose our traditional folded card with envelope - requires pick up or shipping to recipient

LOCAL PICK UP: Orders will be accepted until 7 pm on December 23rd for pick up at Pet Valu, Kingston Centre (1036 Princess Street). You will be notified via email when your order is ready for pick up at Pet Valu.

EMAIL DELIVERY: Once your order is received, the certificate will be emailed to you within 24 hours. Please be sure to check your spam folder! 

*Due to Canada Revenue Agency regulations tax receipts will be issued for the value of the donation less $5, to account for the value of the certificate. 

Miss Pip 

Miss PipPip came to us after her guardian passed away and Pip, who is diabetic, was at risk in a shelter. In our care she receives the medication and food she needs to control her disease, and regular check-ups.

TheoTheo was returned to the rescue earlier this year a few years after he was adopted. He is an extremely shy, sensitive guy who found losing his family very difficult. Theo is in a loving foster home who is helping him learn to trust again.

Oreo - Oreo and her siblings were born outside when their mother was living stray. Thankfully a kind family found them, contacted the rescue and agreed to foster the entire family, momma included. Oreo is waiting for her forever home.

Rigby - Rigby came to us from a shelter after a large group of bunnies were removed from a breeder. Rigby and the others were all sick and Rigby has dental issues that will be addressed when he is neutered.

Salt and Pepper 

Salt and Pepper - Salt and Pepper were part of a large intake several years ago. They were removed from a hoarding situation along with hundreds of other rabbits. They were adopted, but later returned to us. This year Salt developed head tilt and had surgery. Thankfully, she has fully recovered.

ClarkOriginally rescued by KAR several years ago, Clark and his girlfriend, Lola, were adopted and returned three times through no fault of their own. To add to his heartache, earlier this year Lola passed away. Clark is safe in our care awaiting another new beginning.

WallieWallie, who is about 12 years old, was found stray, very malnourished and suffering from dental disease and Intervertebral disc disease. He is a now a proper weight and receives laser and hydro therapy to keep him as healthy as possible (and he had dental surgery).

Silver and Trinity 

Silver and Trinity - These sweet girls arrived in our care recently along with six other rats. Both are suffering from upper respiratory infections and Silver has head tilt. They are receiving the care they need to get better.
