Meet Boots. This lovely boy came to us in May 2013 in need of urgent care. He suffered an accident that resulted in a broken jaw, damage to his right eye, tail and a fractured pelvis. This gentle boy underwent surgery to repair his jaw and had a long a difficult road to recovery due to his multiple injuries. He had to be confined to a crate for several weeks to allow his pelvis to heal.

With the care of his awesome foster home, Boots did very well. His vet was amazed at how well he healed. Two months after his original surgery, Boots underwent second surgery to remove the wire that was holding his jaw together and a canine tooth that was misaligned.

A few months after his original injury Boots was completely healed and as loving and playful as a healthy cat. During his time healing Boots wiggled his way into his foster mom’s heart and she eventually decided he had already found his forever home.
